Why I do this (and why I get it)
I’m María José — communication coach, ex-QA & product person, and someone who knows how hard it is to sound like yourself in a second language.
I’ve spent over 20 years working in international, fast-paced teams — across time zones, cultures, and high-stakes projects. I lived in Ireland, worked at Apple, moved back to Spain, and worked in English-speaking startup teams. And I kept seeing the same thing:
